2015 sees the opening of the long awaited Attenborough Centre for the Creative Arts at the University of Sussex, named in honour of the late Lord Attenborough.

Dallas Opera success with Interactive Simulcast of Machover’s Death and the Powers - 16 June 2014More

In February Dallas Opera opened their production of Tod Machover’s cutting edge opera Death and the Powers. This was simulcast to an international audience on Sunday 16th February.

Read on for reviews from the Winspear Opera House, the Perot Art Gallery Dallas, the Royal Academy of Music, London and to watch a video introduction to the opera including footage of the operabots and human performers and interviews with Tod Machover and MIT students.

Institute of Engineering Upgrade Works Commence - 25 October 2013More

As the building strip out gets underway, the Institute of Engineering and Technology publish the first of their series of videos documenting the upgrade of their Savoy Place headquarters.

This short includes an interview with lead Architect Ian Sharratt of Pringle Richards Sharratt.

Xiqu Centre Media Uploads - 29 May 2013More

Sound Space Design are part of the competition winning design team led by architects Bing Thom Architects with Ronald Lu & Partners for the Xiqu Centre in West Kowloon.  Below, you can watch an animation prepared by Bing Thom presenting the award winning scheme.


The Xiqu Centre is part of a vast project to develop the West Kowloon Cultural District with the Xiqu Centre, scheduled to open in 2016, and M+ Museum of Visual Culture the first of 17 arts and cultural venues.

Garsington Opera Pavilion featured on ITV Meridian Tonight - 21 September 2012More

Last night, ITV Meridian Tonight news featured an article on Garsington Opera Pavilion as part of a series on RIBA award winning buildings.

Perhaps prompted by the driving rain on the night they were there, Architect Robin Snell discusses Sound Space Design’s novel approach to reducing the rain noise inside the tented auditroum using a specially designed rain screen installed on top of main auditorium canopy.  Please follow this link  to view the article.
